Both men’s and women’s golf teams have been competing hard this Spring, as both teams have notched multiple tournaments on their belts to start the 2026 half of the golf season. The men’s teams have managed a pair of top ten finishes, while the women’s team has already competed in three different tournaments to start the year.

Starting with the men’s team, the Gorillas began the spring semester with the Rattler Invite on Feb. 16 in San Antonio, Texas. The Gorillas placed tenth out of the 16 team field, finishing with a plus 35 team score, ahead of MIAA rival Missouri Southern. Midwestern State out of Texas would take the win.

Pitt State would then compete next in the Shadow Valley Invite at Rogers, Arkansas. The Gorillas would tie for eighth place with the Missouri Western Griffons at a plus 40 team score. Harding University would take the tournament title.
