Men’s basketball falls to Nebraska-Kearney, defeats Fort Hays

The men’s basketball team split a pair of home games against Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays.   The University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK) Lopers defeated the Gorillas, Thursday, Jan. 21 (75-85). The men managed to bounce back, Saturday, Jan. 23 against the Fort Hays State University Tigers and rode an early lead in the first half to victory (79-68).   The UNK Lopers managed 12 three-point field goals in total and shot 58.6 from the field.   Quentin Hardrict …

Women’s basketball faces back-to-back losses against Nebraska-Kearney, Fort Hays

The women’s PSU basketball team’s seven game winning streak was broken by the University of Nebraska-Kearney (UNK) Lopers Thursday, Jan. 21 (53-57). Athlete of the Week: Quentin Hardrict Jr.

This week’s athlete of the week is men’s basketball player and junior Quentin Hardrict Jr.   Previously, Hardrict spent two seasons at North Iowa and was a two-time first-team All-Iowa Community College Athletic Conference selection.
