“It feels awesome scoring so well, our whole team consists of so many assets and it’s great putting them all together and pulling off a big win,” Gegg said, “I feel that those points helped me play well, but even I started off slow in the second half but after a few minutes I caught fire and just kept going,”

As well as Gegg, a few players were able to score well. Davis finished with 10 points, four rebounds, and five assists, Jackson with 12 points, four rebounds, and one assist, and Gerber with 10 points, eight rebounds, and one assist.

“I feel good going into the tournament, Washburn is a good team, but so are we, and I am excited to play them again, and we are all excited to play in Kansas City,” Gegg said.

The team is eager to play in the tournament and to try and extend their season the best they can and just continue playing together as a team.

“This league is tough, this year for sure has been the toughest in my four years here at Pitt, so it will make for a fun and interesting weekend,” Gegg said.
