Sideline squad preps for first game

Jessica Sewing | Collegio Reporter Game day is quickly approaching and football players aren’t the only athletes preparing for the opening game. The PSU spirit squad has been practicing nonstop for the first home game. Linda Graham, head coach, says the team has been running around all week, pumping up the community for the game. “The team has been going to nursing homes and elementary schools,” Graham said. “They are really representing the school and getting involved with the community that supports PSU.” Graham says that the team practices more than 12 hours per week, excluding games. She says that being a member of the squad is a commitment that the team doesn’t take lightly….
