Sigma Phi Epsilon (Sig Ep) and Sigma Sigma Sigma (Tri Sigs) held the fifth annual Ali Kemp fashion show and women’s self-defense seminar last Sunday, March 5. The event raised $1,400 for the Ali Kemp Education foundation (T.A.K.E.) “That’s about a thousand dollars more than what we raised last year,” said Katie George, junior in graphic communications and member of Sigma Sigma Sigma. “It was a huge improvement.” The event is Sig Ep’s national philanthropy, started by Roger Kemp (Sig Ep alumn of the University of Central Missouri), Ali’s father, in 2005.
