Making a fast feast in your dorm Jen Rainey | Collegio Reporter Thanksgiving is fast approaching and while most students go home to enjoy a feast, some students stay in the residence halls and find ingenious ways to create their own Thanksgiving. Some students like Morgan Beach are already making their favorite dishes for their friends. Beach says she fixed a marshmallow salad Monday night in Tanner Hall. “My grandmother makes this for every holiday,” said Beach, sophomore in communication. “I sometimes make it, but she has the magic fingers.” The dish costs around $10 and includes pineapple, cherries, peaches, marshmallows, whipped cream, apples and honey.
