Head coach Tim Beck and the Pittsburg State Gorilla football coaching staff held the third annual Ladies Night at the Pitt on Saturday, Aug. 18.
The attendees met with the coaches in Grubbs Hall for “Football 101” before heading to Carnie Smith Stadium for a social hour and to watch the PSU football team scrimmage.
After registering in Grubbs, names were drawn and participants won gift baskets and other prizes. Following the drawings, the “Football 101” presentation began. The Gorilla coaching staff showed the women a PowerPoint presentation to illustrate football basics, like positions and tactics.
Several players then put on a fashion show for the participants, modeling clothing while the women cheered. The ladies voted for their favorite before leaving Grubbs Hall for the football field.
